Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree native to Australia. The leaves contain eucalyptol, a common flavoring ingredient in commercial mouthwash, cough drops and vaporizer fluids.
Directions
To use as a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Safety Guideline: Not to be used by persons with inflammatory diseases of the gastro-intestinal and bile ducts and severe diseases of the liver. Do not use eucalyptus preparations on areas of the face and especially the nose in infants and young children.
