Young Hyson Green Tea has been compared to a forest after a spring rain, with aroma and flavor that is earthy and wild, yet delicate. Green tea has not undergone the same withering and oxidation process used to make oolong and black teas. This light-bodied brew produces a very dry, slightly brothy flavor, making it perfect as either hot or iced tea. From the species Camellia sinensis, it is made from young leaves.
Green tea brewing basics: Put 1 tsp. of tea in strainer, then place in cup. Add 8 oz. of water slightly cooled from a boil and steep for 3-4 minutes. Feel free to adjust to your preference.
