Organic Nepali Black Tea is a deep, reddish-coppery color ideally suited for iced tea or hot tea such as breakfast tea applications. With sweet, floral aromas this well-balanced tea contains earthy and nutty flavors with a pleasantly dry finish.
This black tea comes from the Kanchenjunga Tea Estate and Research Center in a remote, high-altitude region of eastern Nepal. The tea garden resides in the shadow of the 3rd-highest peak in the Himalayas and is the first certified organic tea estate in Nepal. The estate follows a cooperative model that embraces sustainable farming methods, training programs and social and educational programs for farmers, local families and children.

Follow these basic brewing instructions for the perfect cup of black tea
- Put 1 tsp. of tea in a strainer, then place in cup.
- Add 8 oz. of near-boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Feel free to adjust to your preference.
To make Iced tea, either cool brewed tea in the refrigerator or pour over ice to serve right away.
